The risen Christ Jesus speaks to us through His Word and the Holy Spirit. “Faith in the Lord comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17). Today, we can hear Jesus and behold His glory from Genesis through Revelation in the Holy Bible. But we may also gain from the wisdom Christ Jesus imparts in others among us.

In Jeremiah 3:15 it says, — And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

In Ephesians 4:11 it says, — And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
